Microsoft Ireland Announces New Partnership with Payzone

On Monday, 26th June, 2017 Microsoft Ireland and Payzone announced a new partnership, launching Xbox digital products and Office 365 subscriptions in Payzone agents across the country. The new partnership supports Microsoft’s global initiative to enable people to achieve more; guaranteeing that top digital products are accessible to the masses, with Office 365 and Xbox Live subscriptions, credit and digital games now readily available in thousands of Payzone newsagents and retail outlets across Ireland.

Speaking on the launch, Colin Chapman, Consumer and Device Sales Lead, Microsoft Ireland, said: Our mission at Microsoft is to empower everyone to achieve more, and this partnership with Payzone, aligns to that endeavour. Our customers can now purchase digital products, such as Xbox Live, credit, and Microsoft Office 365, at their local participating convenience stores. We are delighted to work with Payzone on this initiative. 

A new approach for both businesses, the partnership is the first of its kind for Payzone - introducing the first digitally delivered gaming and productivity software to the platform. The new digital offering on Payzone’s agency network adds another tier of convenience for consumers. The largest consumer payments network in Ireland, Payzone services over 2,700 branded retail agents processing a variety of electronic transactions services, including mobile phone top ups, debit/credit card transactions, M50 motorway toll payments, Leap travel cards, local property tax payments, parking fees, pre-paid utility, parcel collection services and now, Microsoft digital products. Payzone’s focus is on delivering leading edge payment services that drive greater efficiency for clients and increased revenues for its retail partners.
