Jim Deignan - Chief Executive Officer
Jim has over 20 years experience in the Computer, Telecommunications and Electronic Payment Industries where he has held a number of senior positions. He is qualified in Finance and Technology via Trinity College. He has considerable experience in Corporate Development, Strategy and Operational Execution.
He joined Payzone Ireland as Managing Director in 2002 working with many of our key clients in expanding their brand presence within the fast moving consumer goods sector and positioning Payzone Ireland as the leading payments network in the market.
Nigel Bell - Chief Financial Officer
Nigel completed a first class honours Science degree in University College Dublin and then qualified as a Chartered accountant with KPMG. He spent two years with Allen McGuire and Partners where he worked in a private equity team acquiring and managing a portfolio of diverse companies.
Nigel spent several years with Elan and subsequently with Amarin Corporation and was Chief Financial Officer of this NASDAQ quoted company for 3 years.
Nigel joined Payzone in late 2002 and is currently head of Finance and Operations.
Dermot Byrne - Chief Technology Officer
Dermot is a management and technology professional with 20 years experience. After graduating from University College Dublin with a BSc. (Hons), Dermot has worked and consulted for a number of blue chip companies across Ireland, UK and North America. His experience spans a variety of industry sectors, including Finance, Telco and IT where he has held a number of executive positions.
Dermot joined Payzone in 2015.
Olivia Noonan - Head of Utilities
Olivia is responsible for Business Development and Marketing at Payzone. Olivia has been with the company since 1997 and has worked with several key partners in developing products and services for the company that fit with the Payzone brand. During her time at Payzone, Olivia has also worked for some time in the Swedish office.
A Business Studies graduate from the University of Limerick, Olivia also holds a Masters in Business Studies from Michael Smurfit Business School, Dublin.
Aideen McCracken - Head of Financial Services
Aideen has over 10 years’ experience in the electronic payments and fraud management sector and has been responsible for working with clients globally helping them develop payment strategies.
Aideen has also held senior marketing roles with Dell and Gateway. This experience includes an invaluable understanding in relation to consumer behaviour and purchasing behaviour across Europe.
As Director of New Business Aideen’s primary responsibility is to work with Payzone clients delivering a range of high quality and innovative multi-channel payment capabilities.
Barry Keegan - Head of Retail Sales
Since joining the business in 2002, Barry has held numerous sales roles within Payzone. Today, Barry is responsible for our key revenue lines and drives the sales team to deliver solutions and new products to our retailers while at the same time developing relationships with key accounts and other retail partners.
Barry holds an Advanced Diploma in Marketing and a BSc in Management awarded through Trinity College.
