Payzone Ireland is delighted to announce that they have been engaged as technology partner for Greenstar & will facilitate waste payments on their behalf in Payzone outlets.

The Refuse & Recycling Payment Card enables customers to pay as they go for their household bin collection charges.

This payment card initiative has been very successfully rolled out to over 4000 Greenstar customers in County Wexford, County Wicklow & the Fingal area of Co. Dublin, with plans to offer the payment option to Greenstar’s other domestic customers nationwide over the coming months.

The new payment method is an attractive option for householders who want more control of their budgets. The card is also a great option for refuse bag users to consider switching to using bins or for those who present lower volumes of waste. It gives greater choice to customers to control their payments through local shops that display the Payzone sign.

According to Greenstar Managing Director of Commercial Services, Jerry Dempsey, this will enhance the card’s appeal: “our payment card not only offers the convenience of enabling households to take control of their weekly waste budget, but it’s also better for our environment and we at Greenstar are delighted to take the lead and encourage a move away from refuse bags towards the greater use of bins”.  “Just like pre-paying for your phone, our customers can buy credit on a personalised Payment Card which lets them have their bin collected only when they need it.  With no bills and no annual fee – our customer is totally in control”.

This exciting new addition to the Payzone Agency adds to the already growing list of utility payments which can be made in Payzone outlets.
