Card terminal basics

Basic card terminal functions

• Use F1 (top left button) to access the Payzone sales screen
   
• Use the up and down arrows to navigate menus, or use the number keys
   
• The enter button (bottom right/green) is used to select or confirm
   
• The cancel button (bottom left/red) is used to cancel unfinished transactions or return to the previous screen
   
• For dual terminals, press the Menu button followed by the A40 – EMV option to access the card processing function
   
• Please note, it is important to collect cash payments from customers before you process the transaction

Terminal reports

• Press F1, select reports (Option 9)
• Select report type
• Select ‘Summary report’ or ‘Detail report' as required
• Password for this function is 01483
• ‘Detail by date’ and ‘Summary by date’ also available
• Press confirm
• Report will print.

Clearing totals

• Print ‘Summary report’ or ‘Detail report’
• Press enter to clear totals and enter merchant PIN.
   

Re-printing previous transactions

• To re-print a previous transaction, press F1, select reports (Option 9) then select reprints (Option 2)
• From this menu you can select to re-print:
  • 1 - By last transaction
  • 2 - By transaction
  • 3 - By sequence
  • 4 - By serial
