GOAL is one of Ireland's leading humanitarian charities, delivering emergency response and long-term development programmes across some of the world's most vulnerable communities.

Fundraising plays a vital role in supporting this work, requiring flexible payment tools across campaigns, corporate partnerships and fundraising events.

The challenge

GOAL needed a payment platform capable of supporting a variety of fundraising activities while providing straightforward financial reconciliation.
The charity also wanted flexible tools that could support both its own fundraising initiatives and events delivered alongside corporate partners.

Payzone and GOAL: The solution

The result

Today, Payzone supports GOAL with several fundraising initiatives including the GOAL Ball, Shamrocks for GOAL, the GOAL Golf Classic, and other fundraising events throughout the year. 

Payzone also assists GOAL to allow their corporate partners to fundraise easily on their behalf. GOAL sends a simple link or QR code to corporates so they can easily register for events, donate, create fundraising pages, and so much more. 
For example, AIB regularly uses Payzone’s platform to fundraise for GOAL for various events such as sporting/endurance challenges. 
QR codes displayed during GOAL’s fundraising events have made it easy for supporters to donate quickly using their phones. This has proven particularly beneficial at GOAL’s annual gala the GOAL Ball and GOAL’s Golf Classic.

The platform's reporting tools make reconciliation straightforward, giving the fundraising team clear visibility of all fundraising progress and performance.
