National Performing Arts School

The National Performing Arts School (NPAS) has been inspiring young performers for over 30 years, offering dance, drama and musical theatre classes for children and young people across Dublin. 

With hundreds of students attending classes, camps and workshops each year, managing enrolments, payments and communications efficiently is essential.

The challenge

As the school continued to grow, NPAS needed an online payment platform that could support much more than simply collecting payments.

The team wanted a solution that would allow them to manage enrolments, personalise student accounts, communicate with families and easily add new classes, courses and services as the business evolved. Above all, they wanted a platform that was simple for both administrators and parents to use.
 

Payzone and NPAS: The solution

NPAS implemented Payzone’s online payment platform in 2015 and has continued to grow alongside the platform for more than 11 years.

Today they use Payzone to:

• Manage student enrolments 
• Collect course and class payments 
• Create new classes and services 
• Personalise student accounts 
• Communicate with parents via email and SMS
• Manage seasonal programmes such as Summer Camps 
• Sell additional products and services online.

Because the platform can be managed by their own administrative team, new classes, payment options, student accounts etc can be created, amended or deleted without requiring technical support.
 

The result

Payzone has become an integral part of the school's day-to-day operations.

When NPAS relocated back to its permanent home at The Factory, Barrow Street, the platform’s email and SMS feature enabled staff to communicate easily with families throughout the move while continuing to manage enrolments and payments without disruption.

The flexibility of the platform has also allowed the school to expand its course offering while maintaining a simple booking experience for parents.

Today, many families are already familiar with Payzone through their children's schools and clubs, making the registration process even more straightforward.
